is this kind of 'selective' reporting considered 'corruption'?

were they trying to hide this fact becos since their masters would be debating abt their salary
and the argument would be high pay = good people

if they report the corruption
then they will not dare to argue anything

and they wont dre to argue that high pay= good people

should someone in the ST be investigated for corruption?

i ve asked the same question too. the reasons were probably :

1. to dissolve the allegation if possible, i.e, to be able to cover all up and case closed
2. to see if situation could be compromise and settle privately and case closed.

when the case couldn't be closed, bo bian it has to splash out to the public. next step would be DAMAGE CONTROL. time for the PR people to go into action.
