Why countries that have censorship and dictatorship like CCP China cannot be the world leaders in creative invention thereby creating immense wealth? They can only be copycats and steal others' inventions with cheap labour and production cost. In the long run, these copycat countries will lose out on real wealth building That's why PAP tries to encourage creative thinking but censorship of political thoughts will result in limited results. That's why you don't see many, if any, leading inventions from local companies even if we self-praise our local education standard.
