How come nobody answer why duck egg not allowed here? since the bird flu incident right?
Where you stay? At BKK?All my life I thought duck eggs are only salted eggs and century eggs until I came to Bangkok I found out that Thais eat duck eggs just like chicken eggs. I mean they will fry it steam it in all sorts of style. I tried and kind of like it as it is richer and tastier. SO now I also stock up duck eggs in the fridge.
Fresh duck eggs are sold side by side with chicken eggs but more expensive. 10 chicken eggs costs 37-44 baht in the market while duck eggs are like 55 baht for 10.
