Why are US closest allies japan, south korea, Australia, Canada, EU slapped with 35% tariffs and sinkie only at 10%?

Trump is a crazed piece of shit. I found out end Feb 2025. And now his loyal and key MAGA supporters are leaving in droves. Mad fucker.

Trump still missed his romance with fatty Kim at Sentosa, so he is quite lenient with Singapore on Tariffs.

Because shithole island isn't doing much to re-export Tiong products to the USA.

The tariffs are all about destroying the cancer which got into the WTO: China.

Want those tariffs to go down? Reduce trade relations with China decouple from it as much as possible.

Why are you so vehemently against communist chinese?

Because we have a trade surplus with the US while the others had a trade deficit.

Even though the US does have a trade surplus with S'pore, it is not the major reason for a lower tariff rate, as SG is still subject to tariffs. The US' broader trade policy appears to be driven by a desire for reciprocal trade and addressing perceived trade deficits globally, and tariffs can be applied even in cases of a trade surplus.

The US has been pursuing an "MAGA" policy, which aims to protect American industries and jobs. This policy may have led to the imposition of tariffs on countries that are seen as competitors or threats to American economic interests.
