[h=2]PM admit Rivervale Plaza is so untidy, he will be angry too with PAP if he stay here![/h]
PM Lee visits Rivervale Plaza

PM Lee has now personally got involved in the campaigning of the Punggol East by-election. It shows just how much is at stake and that PAP simply cannot afford to lose the by-election.

A PAP loss will signify a very real and possibly irreversible decline and it would mean that Singaporeans don’t think much of what the PAP government has done since the general elections in 2011.

During his walkabout at Rivervale Plaza this morning (19 Jan), PM Lee spoke to both stall owners and residents.

He saw visible problems such as clutter and the exposed ceilings of Rivervale Plaza, where upgrading works have been plagued by a series of delays since the contractor went bust.

Mr Lee said, “It’s in an untidy state now. I can understand residents being impatient, aggravated, and irritated by the inconvenience daily.”
