A STOMPer was left feeling very uncomfortable after a doctor hit on her during a consultation. The doctor apparently stared into her eyes, winked at her and offered her discounts, even though her boyfriend was with her.
The STOMPer elaborates:
"I was at a hospital to see a doctor recently. My boyfriend was with me and we both entered the doctor's room together. Minutes into the conversation, the doctor started telling me that he would give me a discount for the consultation.
"I thought he was being nice and friendly, but he started probing about my work life, as well as personal life. During the consultation, there were moments where he completely stopped in his tracks, smiled, and stared into my eyes.
"Then, he turned around, took out a pair of sterile gloves and told me cheekily, 'This costs money, but it's free... only for you'. Then, he winked at me. He then told me to consider doing a surgery, as he'd give me a huge discount, with the fees deducted from 'his side'.
"I told him that I was working and I could afford to pay for both the consultation and surgery but he insisted that I accept his discount. Before I left, he started probing more about my life, and even asked if I would consider leaving my current job as he could recommend me a job in the hospital he was working in.
"I turned him down but he kept telling me that he would very much like to give me a good position at his workplace. He obviously wanted me to work with him, and I was feeling extremely uncomfortable at this point, after all those questions.
"The doctor was clearly trying to hit on me. All this even when my boyfriend was in the room. Doctors these days are not professional at all, and I am utterly disgusted by his behaviour.
"Many years back, I also had a friend who got raped by her doctor, who claimed that he was really in love with her after she visited him several times. Why are doctors so horny? Are doctors always this horny?
"Why can't doctors control themselves? Is it because they're cooped up in their room all day? Have any STOMPers experienced horny doctors before? Or doctors who end up hitting on you because you're pretty? Please share your experience.
I'm slightly traumatised by this experience and will not be going back to visit this doctor again."
