by the way Sam, if base on rep pts to post many newbies will have a hard time to voice their opinion different from others..you may want to consider a better system as it can be easily abuse:o:o

The reputation system runs independently of the infraction system. Members cannot be banned by deducting rep points.
Combination of points, join date and posts per day.
No member is silenced using the rep system. All it does is filter out spam.

I already told you there is no fixed number.
The formula is [rep points] + [number of days joined] x "y" - [average posts per day] > 2.36
"y" is a variable designed to pick up spam messages.
