why har? Can any expert tell me?

Badly managed by so called scholars...so costs efficiency go down the drain.

Anyone can verify that the transport fare has actually increased recently without announcement?
That's what I heard from some friends who takes public transport.

Because labour costs have gone up after Singaporeans clamored for better pay for the peasants.

Bus drivers in other developed countries make $60k a year ...in sinkapore, they make $24k a year. What better pay are you referring to?

In countries where bus drivers are paid $60k per year, the bus trips are ridiculously expensive. In NZ, it would cost me almost $15 to town and back. I can make the same journey by car and pay for 4 hours of parking and still come out on top.

your comparison must be in relative to your NZ salary, housing and living expenses.

please dont compare NZ mao shan wang with Geylang Mao Shan Wang

But we are subsidizing everyone, including foreigners who do not pay for tax.

It should only be for us since we are the one paying the 1.1 billion.

Not true. I have been to countries where it is a flat fee like $3, and you can travel in either direction within a time limit of 2 hours. So, you could just pay one fare to run go do a quick shopping and then get home.

Housing and living expenses in NZ are much higher than Singapore.

Sinkapoop is such a unique country.

When service quality gets lower, the cost gets higher !

Done my sums. Even with the daily or monthly pass, it's still cheaper to drive and park unless you're working in the city and need to park the whole day.
