8. High unemployment
9. Not enough food

correction... should be "johore & spore to merge" believe this would be a win-win and no turning back decision for a better future for next generation and beyond... hope i can live long enough to witness this historic moment..

Save all the Billions of dollars pap plans to invest in China and instead use these billions to buy Bintan and Batam from Indonesia and form SinBinTam

3. Join Australia
4. Be a vassal of China
5. Be a State of USA

The great wall of china couldn't keep the barbarians out. What makes you think this one will. Along the coast of johore have plenty of illegal landing points for indonesians coming into malaysia. Javanese make up a huge percentage of johore population. The sultan of johore himself is of sulawesi bugis descent( the original sultan of johore of malacca descent was killed by his fsther in law with no heir apparent).

I agree. can negotiate with Indonesia and pay them well. SG need not try to invest in India, China or Vietnam and lose all our precious and hard earned tax payers' money. Use the Billions to pay Indonesia. With their thousands of islands, they can afford to sell us Bintan and Batam if we negotiate correctly and pay the right price
