Speaking of Bras Basah Complex, they are fucking up the retro feel of that place right now.

They're going to turn it into some mall with a neon-lit facade.

BBC  :kma:

The 2nd hand bookshops usually do not like to take in old books, unless they are in fantastic condition - and then they'll only offer a very low cost.
I have tried the ones in Far East Plaza (incl Sunny), Selegie, Bras Basah, Clementi... no one is helpful.
In the end, I packed all my library of story books (nearly 500 of them) into 2 large suitcases and dropped off at the Salvation Army at Bt Timah. Hopefully they put to good use...

i will gladly take in all old books.

for a fee, of course.

you must send it to my place lah.

but i expect you to thank me very much hor.

Guys I am quite keen time take in old English books. From kids to adult books. No playboy please.

I remember seeing a 2nd hand book store on the 2nd of Peace Centre at Selegie Rd. The building with all those photocopying biznesses. They have all kinds of strange books. Maybe they might be interested:confused:
