I was taking a look at the Isetan Supermarket & looking at the imported Japanese melons selling for $25, grapes selling for $90+ ,..I wonder who can afford such prices

One of the Satay stall at Clark Quay told me that his rent per month is 22-23K. The figures were simply mind boggling!! I can understand if you're in a high end fine dining set up but satay??? C'mon get real.
22-23k? Even if one satay stick is $1 profit, he still have to sell 22k/30 = 730 sticks a day! How is that possible?
