A young woman could face up to $1 million in damages if the allegation is proven true after allegedly driving a Rolls-Royce while drunk and colliding with a Mercedes-Benz in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

The Rolls-Royce SUV collided head-on with the Mercedes-Benz early Saturday morning while being driven by George Prasalas, the driver of radio host Kyle Sandilands.

Police said the Rolls-Royce driver, 23-year-old LanLan Yang, was uninjured.

LanLan Yang was granted conditional bail and ordered to surrender her passport.

Under strict conditions, she is prohibited from driving and must remain at her home in Sydney’s east between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily.

The vehicle was held in a secure parking lot in Alexandria pending a police investigation.

Yang Lanlan is scheduled to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on August 15.

On Wednesday, 23-year-old Yang Lanlan left the police station wearing a Chanel dress.

In the early morning of July 27, 2025, 23-year-old Yang Lanlan, a Chinese-American woman, was driving drunk and on the wrong side of the road in an affluent area of Sydney, Australia, when she crashed her Rolls-Royce into a Mercedes-Benz, seriously injuring the other driver. She was released on bail of approximately 320 million RMB, her identity and background remaining a mystery, attracting global attention.

High Bail and Controversy

Yang Lanlan was released on bail of approximately 70 million Australian dollars (approximately 320 million RMB), a local record. Bail conditions included surrendering her passport, a driving ban, and nighttime confinement. Her account reportedly held over one trillion RMB in assets, but the source of her wealth was unknown. She has no real estate, social media, or company records, and her background remains a mystery.

Social Repercussions

The incident raised questions about privilege, judicial impartiality, and the source of wealth. Australian media dubbed him “Tianlongren,” exposing the phenomenon of “invisible wealthy” Chinese in Australia. Netizens speculated he was involved in iron ore quota trading, but there was no concrete evidence. The case is scheduled to go to trial on August 15th, and the compensation could exceed 4.6 million RMB.

The wealthy heiress behind the wheel of a Tiffany-blue Rolls-Royce that smashed into a celebrity chauffeur, leaving him with horrific injuries, has reported for bail dressed head-to-toe in a designer outfit.

The Daily Mail confronted LanLan Yang, 23, as she reported to Rose Bay Police station in Sydney's east on Wednesday, dressed in a Chanel outfit, five days after smashing her $1million car into a Mercedes van driven by Kyle Sandiland's chauffeur.

The young woman was allegedly drunk behind the wheel of her Rolls-Royce Cullinan in the early hours of Saturday morning when she crashed into George Plassaras' van - writing off her car and leaving him hospitalised. Sandilands was not inside at the time.

Yang was flanked by a minder as she was grilled on video about how she would plead to the charges she faces, how she can afford two Rolls-Royces and if she had any reaction to Mr Plassaras's admission he had 'lost' his hip.
