Are you sure Chan Chun Sing was in charge of strategic matters for the Punggol East by-election??

I thought Teo Chee Hean was running the PAP's campaign. Chan was just helping out.

Chan is not a politician, he has very limited political experience especially in a properly contested election campaign. He himself has never won an election. He was in Tanjong Pagar GRC which was the ONLY walkover constituency in 2011. What does he know about executing a campaign?

I suppose they didn't really have anyone else of caliber to handle such a task ok they have some mini stars but they were probably busying plundering sinkies but still they should have spared no effort in making sure they won by getting their best of the best to contest and strategize now they have lost pongol east.
