Seeing so many normal good shop turn halal...You think it does not affect non muslin dining experience? Those stalls not wanting to pay the halal cert but has no pork & has good regular customers for a long time suddenly have the Muslims pushing them to get the cert, it certainly affecting business. The Chinese in Malaysia are a resilient and tenacious people. They have prospered despite the institutionalised racial discrimination. Only the weak, lazy and dumb majority cannot compete on a level-playing field so they expect handouts from the govt. The Malaysian economy cannot prosper like this, which is good for S'pore.

Actually I hope to have a government that will let all of us relax & they look after us. What's the use of government if they can't let us enjoy the fruit of labour after 60years.
