Who is the fucked-up commentator commentating on the live telecast of the AFC Suzuki Cup match between Singapore vs Malaysia that was broadcast live. The game just ended and Malaysia won 2 - 1.
The commentator made many mistakes. Either he is cock-eyed or he is biased in his commentary.
Commentator mistake #1: Singapore equalised with a free kick which the M'sian goalie could only parry and SG's Khairul Amri pounced on the loose ball to score. Commentator was berating the M'sian goalie for the mistake, saying the goalie should either catch it or parry it to the side, and not parry it right in front.
Slow-motion replay showed that the keeper pushed the ball to the side, NOT to the front as claimed by the commentator.
In any case, the modern ball can bend and dip. It is not easy to catch the ball. In theory yes, either catch or push it away. In reality, quite hard.
Commentator mistake #2: SG conceded an injury-time penalty when the M'sian striker was pushed when going for the cross. Commentator was saying he could not see why it was a penalty and that the penalty decision by the referee was inexplicable.
Slow-motion replay showed that the SG defender used his elbow to shove the M'sia striker, hence the reason the M'sia striker fell.
I bet that this is the type of commentator who will also say the standard of SG soccer is low and declining. The commentator should do a review of their commentary and get some feedback on his performance. SG soccer lousy? Commentator every more lousy.
