SINGAPORE: Minister for Foreign Affairs and Law K Shanmugam and his wife, Dr Seetha Shanmugam, are visiting Johor on Monday (Mar 23) to attend the coronation of the Sultan of Johor.

In a news release on Monday, Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said Mr Shanmugam will attend the ceremony for Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar in the morning.

"The coronation is a historic event for Johor and is steeped in Johor’s royal traditions. Minister Shanmugam’s visit reflects the warm relationship and close friendship between Singapore and Johor," MFA said.
