Which policies need to be revised or dismantle if a new government is formed?

It may not happen now but sooner or later it will.

My wish,

1) Stop the crazy pursuit for GDP growth - examine the current reserves and see we can afford 10 year zero growth or minimal growth
2) Revert CPF to its original purpose - withdrawal @ 55, scrape special acc, medisave and min. sum
3) Have a real time check on ERP i.e. halt the ERP for 6 to 12 months and let the people decide with a referendum
4) COE remains but need to modify yearly quota, bidding system and remove COE from taxis
5) Demolish useless seats - MM, SM, NCMP, NMP and most importantly burn that Emeritus wooden chair
6) Dismantle GRCs
7) Complete stop on new citizens. Start weeding out useless FTs and sent them back to where they deserved.
8) Stop sponsoring scholarships to non Singaporeans
9) Dismantle the 3-legged PA
10) To make the citizens inclusive, hold a referendum whether a president is necessary

Hope some of these could be included in the oppositions' manifestos

The first policy to be revised is carrying passengers in cabinet, i.e. those who provide little to no value but get high pay and spend their time
stating the obvious, making motherhood statements, talking like a clown and acting like a buffoon.

Exactly, current policies are mostly fear induced. Old age, not enough reserve, traffic jams...etc

It is better for me to face traffic jam and enjoy a great relief after finding my way out rather than having to face PAP and have no way out.
People in Bangkok live with horrendous jams but they are happier cos' they learned to live with it and plan their journeys with occasional travels by BTS.
Let the people have a choice and a referendum is most appropriate if an inclusive society is advocated.

That brings me to The Minister Without Portfolio. Sounds like a Minister Without Purpose.

The opposition should not contest based on a strategy of changing the current government's policies, while it may win popular votes, I would like to see the opposition propose credible and sound different strategies rather than be seen as "attacking" current policies. Why contest and argue current strategies in place and have the government defend the strategies with "facts and figures" they have "justified" for so long. Get into government then change the policies one by one.

Having said that, there are only limited fresh policies that even a good opposition can come up with.

No.1 Fully liberalise bus and train services. Let them charge what they want and don't subsidise them.

No.2 Double the pay of opposition MPs so that the opposition can attract better talent into their fold.

No.3 Close the casinos and ban all forms of gambling because gambling destroy families.

No.4 Stop the growth of the car population. We only have so much land, it is unrealistic in the long run to keep increasing the number of vehicles on our roads.

That is going to empty the parliament based on the current scenario. On the other hand, it provides a lot of cost-savings for the people too. In a way good news.

There will never be a new govt given the standards of opposition parties and their supporters.

There is a need ton increase the pay of opposition MPs in order to attract better talent among their ranks.

Whichever party that takes up the mantle of government from the PAP, I hope they can enact policies to wipe out useless Singaporeans and import better quality human beings from first world countries.

Agree with you entirely but it will be useful for oppositions to expel the 'fear factor' instilled by PAP on every policy introduced.
Massive influx of Fts is one area where they justified their actions with fears of non competitiveness and unfavourable economic fallout.
They were comfortably free from fear of overcrowding, under-capacity infrastructure and other social problems

We used to call him Lim Boon Heng the Cho-Boh-Lan Minister i.e.He is paid millions without any job description / job specification so he may be paid millions for sleeping in his office or at home.
