You can try German sausages. They tend to be fat and thick.![]()
Don't know what your actual intention is, but I'll answer your question the way I know:
There aren't no cheap hot dogs in Singapore. A common street side fast food in North America is hardly or not found here. It is not in the culture. The hot dogs sold at IKEA in Sg sucks - it does not come with hot dog relish, and the chilli dog at Charlie's Corner in Changi is crappy. I don't know about those "gourmet" hot dog places at fancy Orchard Road or Marina Bay Sands, they're way overpriced and not my idea of hot dog. The best bet is to buy a bottle of relish, mustard and ketchup from the supermarket, grill or fry the wieners in your kitchen, toast the buns and do it all yourself at home. I prefer a grilled spicy polish sausage for the meat, raw white onions, hot English mustard and ketchup dripping over it. Goes well with a cold beer.
Cheers!
you writeing so yummy and deletious type. Makeings me so hungry for hot dogs now. the mustard and ketchup drippings makeing it so more more yummy and wettings. I cannot takes in anymore.
best hot dog by far is from costco. cheap too. for usd1.50 plus tax you can select 7-inch long regular dog or slightly shorter but thicker polish dog. it's more salty with regular dog as juices flow out when you bite into it. be careful. it's piping hot. the polish dog is spicy, meatier, and harder. you will like polish. but be careful when you swallow whole. best is to add gobs of condiments such as onions, relish, mustard and ketchup. they will help lubricate the devouring shiokness. :p
where can finds long and slightly shorter but thicker polish dog ?
