I don't keep a printer at home. So I guess there are only 2 places I can go to do my printing: National Library and Standard Photo shops. According to Google, NLB charges 30 cents per A4 size and Standard Photo 20 cents.

Do I have to bring a thumb drive ? Can they print directly from my mobile phone using bluetooth ?

NLB branches charge 10 cents per copy + GST. They use laser printer, and everything is self-service.

My office photocopier. It's 12 yrs old but still going strong.

Last time, Peninsula Plaza had many printing shops. Nowadays, I can't even find one there.

Do NOT ever bring along your thumb/flash/usb drive and use it on a public computer. If you do that, you need to throw it away right after use.

Below are some options you might wish to consider. They are:

1.
a. Zip up your documents and/or photos with an easy-to-remember passphrase.
b. Upload it to a free file-hosting site.
c. Copy the download link.
d. At an NLB branch library, download it using the link in (c) above.
e. Print your stuff.

2. Go to Bras Basah Complex. There are many commercial print shops in it. Before going there, you can save your documents and/or photos onto your cell phone. At any one of those shops, you can just WhatsApp them to the cell phone number displayed on the shop window or the counter.

3. Go to Singapore Management University. There are printing services offered as well.

4. Go to Parklane Shopping Centre.

I needed only a few pages, not more than 20 pages in a year. Mainly Scoot boarding pass, SRT and KTMB train tickets

NLB is perfect !

I go to my opposite block paying a premium price 50c per page.
I WhatsApp auntie with the file.
While printing I zi zi zam zam with her.
Save all the trouble and cost of taking transport.

invest in a cheap printer...buy second hand....alot available....like that your docs are printed without letting others know.
hardware is cheap, consumables are ex...so you have to buy those pirated ink as well.

Which one better, laser jet, ink jet...etc? Not all printer can print on thicker gsm paper or any paper bigger than A3.

It's on the 3rd floor. The lady boss is very friendly. I have been going there since she was pregnant with that fat daughter you see there at the shop. The daughter always bin chow chow waiting to scold people.
