How about making your own Carrot cake? Have tried twice and not satisfied with both attempts. Too soggy and disintegrate upon frying.

I am thinking of trying out another time but will try the traditional plain square one first. Those one piece 50 cent type which you dip with vinegar chilli sauce. You can also find the plain version in Dim Sum joints but size slightly bigger.

Remember that there used to be a carrot cake stall at Bendemeer food court, the food court opposite the old Texas Instrument premises.
Have been there for a while. Is the food stall still there?
