Where are all the goh li where we used to play in the late 70s ?
The susu goondu remember ?
There is also 1 type of pure white goh li made from different type of marble whereby the more expensive marble sure break the lousy cheap marble. I don't see any now.
Also can anyone remember the rules of the game when we can hit the goh li hard to break it ? I only remember must dig a hole in the sand first.

Draw is circle in the sand, pool all your golis inside, the flick your goli to hit other players' goli out. Very simple game. Upper primary sometimes play betting. Malaysians very good at it. Sinkies lousy always lose their marbles.

I remember those days.

There is another "goh li" game where we try to roll the "goh li" into several holes dug into the ground or sand.

I do have some of those smaller colourful "goh li", but not the bigger ones used in the game to try to smash the others' "goh li"

the opaque goli last time most precious! :D

I do not have any of those opaque "goh li" now.

My mother used to put those smaller colourful "goh li' in the container where she puts those flowering bulbs (non flowering in Singapore, but in Toronto, we call it "paper whites") during the CNY holidays.

Small opaque goh li is known as susu :D same material as the marble used for flooring.
Big opaque goh li not sure call Wat. That one the harder it is the more expensive.
I remember some play cheat will buy metal ball to hit my expensive white goh li.when was I so stupid. How can it be possible for my goh li to break the metal ball :*:
