When will we have our first female Prime Minister?

Thailand will have its first Female Prime Minister in a few days time. Indonesia already has one female President and the Philipppines 2 female Presidents.

We are supposed to be a more Westernise country comparing to Indonesia and Thailand. However, we still keep hearing that Singapore is still not ready to have our female PM. Even our female Ministers and are not those important portfolio... Come on.....

I'll wait and see when will we have our first female PM. Hopefully one as pretty as PM Yingluck. (see photo of my Avatar)!

I do not see the need to have a female prime minister, leaders should not be based on gender but on ability. I rather have an effective capable and honest PM of the minority race, than an incompetent and corrupt Women PM, look at Australia's PM..women so what?
