Dont think it serves the interests of israel to fool around with isis for they are living in the region of madness. They will screw themselves badly with isis living besides their border. Israel rather face assad than isis.

ISIS was created by the US for two reasons: Western control over oil and gas, in particular the pipeline that's slated to run through Syria; and Israel, to create a Sunni buffer against Iran. Recent Wikileaks evidence shows the inadvertent creation of ISIS was actually instigated by an Israeli ploy (as early as 2006) to destablize the Russian-friendly Assad regime, weaken Iran and the Hezbollah, and maintain a pretext for hanging on to the Golan Heights.
