大陸前一陣子因為高油價，讓民眾怨聲載道。
甚至有民眾在接受訪問時，直接脫口說「我能說髒話嗎？」，現在這名男子被稱為是「油價哥」，也因此爆紅，許多節目爭相邀約，還有很多民眾搶著跟他合照。
大陸記者採訪民眾對油價高的感想，這位年輕人的回答，讓他一炮而紅。大陸「油價哥」：「我能說髒話嗎？」記者：「你比較憤怒的是吧？」大陸「油價哥」：「不能嗎？那我就沒什麼好說的。」
這段訪問透過電視台網路的播放，這名大學生成了網友口中的「油價哥」。現在，油價哥紅了，也成為大陸各大節目力邀的來賓。看看他有多紅，節目中的辣妹來賓，還主動要跟他玩自拍合照。這名油價哥，再提到油價，還是相當有戲。
大陸「油價哥」：「我那天剛好是學車，我說我剛學車，車還沒買呢！它(油價)漲了，你說讓我這心情…」
