The Lying Crying Scene

I saw that and was deeply moved. It was 1968 and we had so much pride in our nation. The picture of GKS wiping rain of his glasses was more meaningful that LKY crying over TV in 1965. The latter was fake as we found out - he orchestrated our ouster! Alas, LKY destroyed anything that's left by saying our pledge is an inspiration and Shanmugan added the final nail when he said we're not a country.

I think LKY wanted Malaya but the two fellas hated the idea. He 'boh bian' but to separate from the mainland. Now, on the hindsight, the two guys were right after all. But, they were kicked out to make way for his dragon boy to be the next emperor.
