what's the difference between singapore chicken rice and thailand khao man gai?

The sauce really makes the difference for me—Singapore’s version has a punchier chili and ginger combo, while Khao Man Gai’s is more mellow and savory. Also, I noticed the rice in SG tends to be more fragrant from the pandan and chicken fat. Tried both while sipping some craft cocktails once, and the flavors actually paired better than I expected—especially with something citrusy to cut through the richness.
