I am hoping for the outside chance that the judge does a YPH and doubles the sentence

It makes a mockery of the judiciary. After 5 years and spending millions of taxpayers dollars in this trial, the case is still unclosed. The public will vent their cry of frustration. What a waste of public fund! Should have used the monies to promote Sun Ho music career then! At least promote Singapore to the West music.

...right, let YPH be the presiding judge at the Court of Appeal and Con Hee is likely to get at least 20 years for his crime.
Unfortunately, there is no one with balls as solid as YPH now in the judiciary.
What's his grounds for appeal? People have misappropriated less funds and given heavier sentences. He better pray that the judge had a good breakfast, otherwise the appeal will fail and he will get heavier sentence.

He will jump bail and start another church somewhere in another country under another name. This guy will die in jail. His God will forsake him for being a false preacher, preaching to promote his wife's singing career.
