Lets say , if u just inherited a lump sum of money from your parents what is the best thing to do right now ? Stock markets and bankings are showing signs of weakness and real estate look shaky , how would you handle the money say, 300k?

helpful comments are really appreciated

Now's the best time to buy stocks and real estate as they are going at a big discount. Stick to blue chips and prime real estate and you can't go wrong.

I just bought USD100,000 worth of shares on the US stock market yesterday.

You bought too early, the plunge protection team was propping up the USD and market.

Better to wait for elections to be over. This economic winter will be long-drawn with more casualties GM, GE, Ford etc

Nobody ever catches the deepest trough and the highest peak. Shares are now at a discount so I'm in buying mode. It's normally 5 to 8 years before I take profit.

Today PAP give me $275 pocket money. What should I do with it?

Put it all in AIG stock. The 300k will either become $3 million or $0k.
