What the WP should do at this juncture

we are all in for a rude shock the day WP is in the driver’s seat.

Failure on the part of the WP to take the initiative – not leadership – to organise a meeting of all Opposition parties to plan a strategic assault on the ruling party stranglehold on Singapore will only give detractors plenty of ammunition to create a divided Opposition.

WP is being attacked by others too.

WP need not bow down to political realities. Political realities dictate which approach will reap results and which will not. One area that WP can and should improve in parliament is the manner in which they ask questions. They can do so gentlemanly but need not bend over to show it. They should not pull any punches if there is a real problem. And if the PAP does something well, they don't have to show appreciation overtly. If they want to do so do it in private. It will also be appreciated but most of all it will not give fuel for detractors to make disparaging remarks.

I can understand why WP goes on its non-confrontational approach but if it is bringing in negative vibes, they should adjust their approach and play to the gallery. Anyway what matters is votes eventually and that is what the PAP is focused all along on.
