what L needed badly is his CPF lah ? bodoh

Hello Soylent Green man, glaucoma can be cured as in "resolved"? Not that I am aware of.

It can only be treated. But there is no reversal to the ability to see clearly once again.

However can cancer can go into complete remission.

Can the resident Doc @nayr69sg pls confirm?
KNN glaucoma is caused by dead nerves which is non reversible KNN it can only be controlled from progressing but sometimes even with treatments to lower eye pressure iop to 2 to 6 is still dead KNN worst it is hard to detect and confirm even by a eye doctor KNN so usually people go blind only when their peripheral visions are already gone KNN

than death is better for glaucoma patients,....better to die and be free than to live as an invalid

Cancer go into remission is just rubbish talk,,because it will and always flare up again,,,,its just a sales pitch by medical corporations to sell more drugs and they equate remission with cure,,,what a load of crock

Glaucoma treatment for surgery is remove the lens and replace with an implant. Alot of my relatives have gone for it and have better eyesight than before,,,,but full details need to ask the Doctor in the house,,,

That's cataract not glaucoma.

Glaucoma is a build up of ocular pressure which, if not treated, can destroy the optic nerve and cause irreversible blindness.

However very few people go blind because of glaucoma nowadays because treatment is very effective. New laser based treatments are now replacing eye drops as the primary means of controlling the disease.

I only wish your statement is true for that pinkie CAQ. Then again, now is CNY. No wish of cursing anybody yet.

KNN if any tom dick harry diseases better die than KNN don't need to have hospitals and doctors liao KNN
Why do u think there is such a strong campaign against euthansia? Its because these medical industries etc are economic and financial parasites. And they will do anything to ensure their rice bowl is never broken. U are looking at age care, pharmaceuticals, doctors, nurses etc.... the worse thing is age care,,,most of the patients are invalids and suffering,,,shitting in their own beds etc and living in indignity. even dead fart wanted to 'off' himself if he reach such a stage. And these medical corporations etc want it to continue because they get income through the suffering of others. What about the families,? they cant move on because they have to care for their worthless old folks etc,,,and are forced by economic circumstances and some abandon them in JB etc,,,,if parents really love their children,,,would they want to dragged their kids down? and yet such things are happening,,,all because of corporate greed and religious rubbish (alot of these religious organisations are also in the age care business) its the quality of life and not life itself that is important.

So both glaucoma and cataracts are curable? than is prevention for both regular trips to the optometrists?

Neither are curable.

Cataract is a clouding of the lens. It happens to all of us as we grow older but for some the rate of deterioration is rapid enough to cause blindness if untreated.

Cataract cannot be cured in that there is no way to reverse the process. Treatment involves removing the lens you were born with and replacing it with an artificial lens.

Glaucoma cannot be cured either but ongoing management can reduce ocular pressure to prevent damage to the nerve. This involves the daily application of eye drops or a periodic widening of the drainage ducts using a laser beam.

More controllable than cancer and easier to manage,,,
