What is the Opp's strategy? What is the PAP's strategy?

Anyone hazard a guess? Looks like WP still bank on by election strategy when they only going for less than 1/3. The rest of Opp hope to get a SMC or two. So that leaves PAP still in charge but with a big hole in their majority. The PAP's strategy must be to mitigate this. They know they will lose more this time round but they will try to fight as hard as possible.

Anyone got better insights?

PAP's strategy is not to lose any more seats. They could be resigned to not winning back those they have lost previously.

WP's strategy is to contest in those areas they already hold or have been active in previously.

SFP have claimed that they do not want to contest in 3 corner fights. Let's wait and see.

DPP seem willing to contest in 3 corner fights, thinking that they have the better opposition candidates.

The other opposition parties have not revealed their strategies and obviously, the opposition parties have not had their meeting.

New PAP candidates have to ask themselves this important question: "Why are they standing for elections as a PAP candidate?"

Those who are smarter, have more conscience and empathy, have a strong sense of social justice and are not oblivious or deluded, tend to have some difficulty in answering this question.

That is very obvious the PAP's strategy and they will spare no stones unturned to ensure they will win more seats this time round. Even Tuck Yew is dropped just to be sure...

The Opps will find it hard to carve out the winning strategy as there are many more Opps parties this time round. Some Opps , in my opinion , will not make it , but they being there will, however, deprive the more deserving Opps the opportunity to win seats.

So, the winning strategy for Opps especially the WP may not be " divide and conquer " but " win big on small ".

No wonder the PAP is so gung ho ...the Opposition parties are in disarray. WP is so kiasi and not willing to take over. Anyway, WP is PAP-lite ...so even if WP wins, we will get only a milder version of the PAP.

The top five opposition parties should form a coalition and seek to topple the PAP. WP should play ball and avoid 3-party contest.

The ground is ripe for the toppling of PAP. The question is whether the parties are brave enough to fight the PAP to death?
