People generally think of racism as attacking or stigmatizing other races.
In my opinion, racism can also come in the form of perpetually imagining that one's own race is under permanent siege, and regarding as injurious what should otherwise be fairly innocuous remarks passed about one's race, whilst simultaneously ignoring far more grievous accusations and insults hurled by members of one's race against other races.
