In general, one of the safest investment options for any individual, especially moms, would be a fixed deposit ... it is not only safe but you can also invest smaller amounts... basically, this type of investment is safe as you do not have to worry about market fluctuations, which is generally difficult for mothers to keep track of!! Do take this option into consideration...
 
Tell this to the Cyprus depositors. Their accounts got cleaned out.
