What impact will NSP make in 2016

[Perspective]

Most likely a drop, looking at the elitist nature of the ex-RP NSP corre.

I expect to drop from the race, 2 out of the 4 SMC contenders, at least 2 from Marine Parade, 3 from Jurong, 3 from Tampines and 1 from CCK.

About 11 out of the 24 candidates are either not returning, resigned or won't be fielded by the leadership of elitist minds.

Maybe TJS and gang should join them, else WP will makan the supposedly biggest opposition party.

less seats is better less chance of 3 corner but 1 cant discount the number of new candidates they can attract

There are many of the Sin Kek Tong (SPP chairman) generation who has gone through 4 to 5 elections without winning. How much these old timers want to control a party that they are tired of, that I don't know.

The ones you pointed out who left NSP were same chaps who left WP to join NSP in 2006. They had no staying power, as proven.

Less new candidates, because more rivals.

You either bring in another 5 Nicole seah and use their face/personality to win or you simply re-brand the whole NSP and get more well known individuals into the camp. A good way will be to look for people who have high positions/appointment in corporations... Using the Word "Scholars" doesnt cut it no more. We cant run from the fact that NSP is not looked as a credible party and N.Seah did help alot to get noticed. SDA/NSP/RP can close shop. Only solid opposition for me would be SDP & WP......................
