What about the Malay food at Geylang Serai market second floor? Looks good, but I seldom get to eat there.
Any special dish or stall there?

The Malay nasi padang at the Joo Chiat junction and Sims Ave wet market is superb. Have not been there for some time though.

Surprisingly the Chinese hawker at Whampoa market serves good lontong. Give up on the mats. I don't think they bother about quality anymore.
