Deal to redirect Venezuelan oil exports to US from China

Don't understand this part. US is the 3rd largest oil exporter now. By importing Venezuelan oil (↑supply) they are going to further decrease the price of oil (which is currently very low).

Remember OPEC has stopped playing ball with US to restrict supply to control oil price.

This will in turn hurt America's own oil business, won't it?

the oil proceeds will be used to rebuild and repair oil refineries and infrastructure in venezuela after years of disrepair and degradation under chavez and maduro. it will also be used to open up its economy to the rest of the world besides just shady deals with cuba, iran, russia and tiongcock. u.s. oil companies will return and help it sexport and earn legitimate revenue to rebuild its economy. and conduct fresh erections to form a legit government.
