Oh.. this problem happens only in sinkieland. When there is no database error message from sam's server, your ISPs are the culprits.

Looks like perhaps authorities is now turning their attention to this website after what they did to SBF....perhaps in anticipation of the erection...trying to restrict access to website.

Use a proxy server, helps to speed up the whole process.

I've checked the logs and there is nothing to indicate a problem.

What sort of error message are you getting?

I have monitoring the server over the past few days and found that it is coping well with the increased traffic. The only time the server is sluggish or when database error messages appear is when it is doing an auto maintenance routine which is processor intensive. This last a few minutes every 5 hours.

The rest of the time, the server is fine.

Are you using Starhub?

From time to time, I have problem logging into both Sammyboy Forums since I got Starhub cable modem. Never had that problem when I used PacNet.

Looks like the ISP seem to be restricting access to Sammyboy. U can enter the website, but when u click on threads, u can't access them.

When i accessed Sammyboy by masking my proxy, i can access without a problem. Looks like the ISPs are up to some monkey tricks! :oIo:

The problem I believe is here between Singapore and your server .
Someone is stopping the request from being sent out .

On our Singapore side .

It's the up stream that gets no feedback .
It's like upstream requests that is not met .
And nothing comes back . Only for your website .

One day I believe some one will get really sick of all these protectionism .

Can someone redesign the internet .
Making data stream back to consumers continuously.
Consumers just need to select and picks out what it needs .

Sometimes, can get in but graphics take so long
to load until i give up.
