Many years ago, a PRC violently threatened my colleagues when he repeatedly bought women to the work premises to stay (fuck) overnight.

My former employer sacked him and he went to complain MOM of unpaid OT, pretended to be pitiful, threw embassy letter and even bought a toothbrush along to show MOM that he got no where to go. The MOM officer didn't think and threatened my former boss to reimburse the full amount claim + air ticket, if not he would be blacklisted and barred from hiring staff.

Ms Jane Lee likely encountered the same shit from MOM and ended her life.

Deepest sympathies to the family of Ms Lee and hope her kids will be strong.

Feigning serious injury for insurance claim is not something new.

When i was in a hospital ward, there was a lady who fell from escalator , unable to walk, but same time leefused for scans when the loctor had advised her to.
