Without NSF and then a structure career path for those who took it ; it would have led to many jobless young men in the city state esp during the 1970s , 1980s & 1990s era.
Is the NSF and ICT cause the employers prefer to employ CECA Indians? These CECA Indians are not only cheaper, more importantly, they do not need to serve NS and ICT, so no disruption in the office operation work.
much more can be done to address these issues.
warfares are no longer fought in the battle fields as Ukraine situation have shown clearly.
ICT can be done via zooms for some.
IPPT can be decentralised at Sports Centres and Stadium.
Just to name some example.
For some unknown reasons ICT and IPPT are still done in the most primitives ways.

with IT Tech NSF can be shortened to 1 year or even 6 mths.
