What does the unions do other than giving out link points?

I always wonder what goes behind the scenes in the union but now i got a clearer picture of what they actually do for the workers. Not bad.

Not sure as I don't go there at all, but in most NTUC supermarkets they have Pinoys and Chinamen working there.
