really depends on the race. chinese and indians speaks highly of singapore. malays despise.
lately, many non malay graduates are hijacked to work in singapore. Mostly by multinationals.before they leave, they were given car and housing loans, maybe to stop them from leaving the company.and they get housing allowance on top of the car and housing loans.
