What are the things I need to stock up for two person's consumption if there's a 2 to 3 weeks lockdown in Singapore?

sardines is very good
long shelf life, got good oils, makes your hair black

“stafford act” will be invoked within the next 69 hours for the entire u.s.a. 2-week home quarantine. residents cannot go out. movement of all vehicles and persons will be monitored and enforced by local authorities with assistance from the national guard. all national guard units in all 50 states will be activated. the federal gov is waiting for all units to assemble and report at their respective armories before activating the stafford act. yup, you heard it 1st from me.

Posse Comitatus not an issue?

2kg of rice. Is it enough?
Frozen fish, chicken breast, pork. How much?
Eggs maybe 20 to 30 eggs
Frozen broccoli

Trying to compile a list...

Vary that a bit. Also how much space you got in fridge and freezer?

Get red rice. Oats and millet too. I also get chia seeds and quinoa and teff

Get can meat. Save fridge space for veges.
The covid19 will be getting to farmers in Thailand and other countries.
I doubt they be interested in growing rice for you or even themselves then. So better that you stock up a bit, and prepare to tighten belt even then.

SAF combat rations.

That's why we all need MRE, gas canister, medicines, rice, canned food. People are buying all the wrong thing. Fucking bread and chicken can only last at most one of two weeks even if refrigerated.

May I know what is MRE?
Sorry, I haven't been through military and what I read here is so many military things.
I am just making good use of the last day of her school holiday and my annual leave to gather some stuff together before next week, just in case.

makan ready to excrete.

There is nothing to stock up as long as PAP Lee Hsien Loong is in charge. There will be plentiful and more than enough for everyone.

If a lockdown were to last for about a month, I’ll fast like a Muslim and survive on 2 meals a day.

can #flattenthecurve on my belly :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

If you fast like a Muslim, you'll be eating once in the evening, and once at dawn even before the sun has risen.

Maybe you can participate in Ramadan this year.

MRE - meals ready to eat. Also known as combat rations. Obtainable at ..... maybe Jalan Besar. I don't know as I've been discharged from the services for years.

Anyways, just do the non-perishables like rice, canned fruits and meat, and do have medicines for fever and diarrhoea ready, as well as paper products. Remember these things are not for usage today. They are meant to be kept in storage and used only when a real lockdown has been announced OR when it is deemed unsafe to to go the mall and to the supermarkets (due to large numbers of infected in the population).

Thankyou. At least there's someone kind enough to explain here.

It will be far easier if you categorize them accordingly:

1. Carbohydrates-Rice,potato,etc
2. Proteins-Eggs,Fish, chicken, pork and beef. Minced meat is useful for porridge in case she falls ill.
3. Vegetables-non leafy ones. Good source of protein and fibre.
4. Minerals and Vit. supplements-pasteurized milk which has a longer shelf life,Vit C and D which is good for respiratory function. Recommended dosage and don't overdose. Just take your daughter out in the sun for Vit D as it won't cost you anything.
5. Fiber-Cereals, fruits,etc.
6. Books-If she enjoys reading, it will keep her busy at least for the next 2-3 weeks.

Well, good luck and happy shopping.

Also use less toilet paper.
