We need a comparison and research for alternatives and replacement Asap.

There are too many and very different.

Line is good. But alot of spam. And Line is pushing those silly Line games whereby your friends will keep sending you invites or tell u to send them lives.

Wechat is full of ah tiong hookers.

Try Wechat. Better than WhatAp

LINE is suck. Viber and Tango less people use. Less people use mean better if use for video chat because less distortion.
For chatting wechat is very good and video use Tango or Viber.

It is also a good idea to save copies of iOS and Android Whatsapp now, just in case Facebook decides to screw it up.

I saved copies of Skype installers before Skype was acquired by Microsoft. There's a huge difference between before and after acquisition.
