'Loving' Singapore dad lets his kids doodle all over his pristine white Mazda

When you've got kids, you tell yourself you're willing to do anything you can to make them happy. After all, they're your flesh and blood, and they (probably) look up to you. But when that sentiment is actually put to the test, we realize that we actually do have limits.

However, some parents really are willing to do anything to make their kids happy, so long as it doesn't instil bad values in them. Of course, every parent is different in the way they raise their kids. But one man in Singapore takes the cake for coolest dad ever.

A very, very expensive canvas.

Wanting to find a novel way to bond with his kids, a man in Singapore took to TikTok to show just what he did for that extra special quality time. Let's just say, he turned his car into a very expensive canvas – free for his kids to doodle and scribble all over.

But perhaps to the average car lover, doing it on a pristine white car (in this case, a Mazda3) isn't exactly pleasant to watch. Alas, it's not your car. It's his. He can do whatever he wants. And if it makes him and his kids happy, so be it!

As is clearly evident in the TikTok video above, the kids left no space untouched, except maybe the front and rear bumpers. While some doodles are what you'd normally expect from small kids, there are quite a few that look a little more sophisticated, which makes one think that dad probably got in on the fun as well.

Regardless of who drew what, we all know this isn't going to be easy to wash out. But hey, at least everyone had fun, right?

Several TikTok users reacting to the video applauded the man for being a fun dad who made some great memories with his kids:

While a few others seemed to have missed the point:

And as it turns out, several people in the comments section say they've seen this exact Mazda3 driving around, complete with its 'one-of-one paintwork', which could indicate that this Singapore dad proudly showcases his kids' art.

But others also speculate that the car could be due for scrapping soon, which is probably why this man didn't feel too bad about letting his kids doodle on his car. But here's a little info about Singapore car ownership, to make it all make sense.
If you're not familiar with the way car ownership works in Singapore, you'll be shocked to find out that it's actually pretty damn expensive. This also (unfortunately) applies to regular cars that the layman can afford, not just supercars for the rich and famous.

Say hello to the Certificate of Entitlement (COE), which all Singapore car owners must have in order to get their own set of wheels. And as of June 2022, a COE can cost as much as S$106,000 (nearly US$76,400), according to the Automobile Association of Singapore, and it's only valid for 10 years.

When looking at the Mazda3 in the video, one can tell it isn't exactly a recent model. Who knows? Either way, we're glad the kids had fun!
