NEW YORK - Tiger Woods was reportedly rushed to the Health Central Hospital in Orlando with a suspected drugs overdose after he crashed his car outside his house on Nov 27.
According to celebrity gossip website TMZ, the fifth floor of the hospital was put on lockdown when the golf superstar arrived and was admitted under an alias - William Smith. His wife Elin Nordegren was by his side.
Nordegren gave paramedics two bottles of prescription drugs, Vicodin painkillers and Ambien sleeping pills.
Woods apparently had trouble breathing and doctors had to use a tube to help him breathe.
The revelation was made on Tuesday amid rumours that Nordegren had moved out of the family home as more reports of the golfing superstar's extra-marital affairs continued to emerge.
Celebrity website radaronline revealed on Monday that she had vacated the US$2.6 million (S$3.6 million) mansion she shared with the 14-time Major champion in the Orlando suburb of Windermere.
