This is a joke about Chinese names:

There was once a tailor shop and it was the only one on the street in Chinatown. Its signboard was called "We Can Sew". Later, a competitor set up shop opposite and called themselves "Soh Ken Wee".

Many years ago at the S'pore Poly, there were two close friends. One is called Yew Keng Fatt and his buddy's name is Soh Kian Wee.
