Weekend football matches when you’re an adult usually end in either cancellation due to insufficient players or just a casual kick around.
This match did not follow that script.
In an incident that allegedly happened on Sunday, Feb. 17, a video shows a man on the ground in a state of shock, with his face completely bloody.
In the video, you can hear a man saying someone had head-butted the wounded player.
With many speculating that it was the work of someone stamping on the face with studs.
The incident apparently happened in a game held at East Spring Secondary School.
But just so we’re clear, it doesn’t appear to be in any way related to the school, with the higher probability being adults who booked the field for recreational use over the weekend.
