We need a minimum wage system in Singapore

Please have a heart. Not everyone can work and not everyone has capacity to work. Anyone of us could be in Difficult situation.

Why can't the strong help weak? Why we shouldn't progress to a compassionate society?

Fk u capitalists

Compassion results in soft and unproductive societies. Kindness does nothing but encourage sloth.

In order for societies to thrive healthy competition is essential.

Nothing wrong with this structure society would not be able to function if everyone was in charge. A hierarchy is needed to keep things running efficiently and in and orderly and law abiding manner.
Hirechacy is needed to maintain discipline and order.

However at times there are exceptions, whereby some manipulation can bypass this control.

For eg
In my previous workplace, my boss boss was scared of him.
My boss was scared of me.
And I'm scared of his boss.

Is weird but it happened.

I think it can be explained by

Becos I knew what my boss was upto
my boss knew what his boss was upto
But I didn't 't know what his boss was upto
And finally becos my boss was scared I will leeport his actions to his boss boss.

Even Buddhists have a hierarchy. Not everyone can be the Dalai Lama
