SINGAPORE: A 25-year-old man has been charged with attempting to lure a girl into committing an indecent act.
Tan Ji Beng allegedly sent a text message to the 14-year-old girl, asking her to show him her breasts.
The incident took place in June this year.
The bespectacled man, who was dressed in black, told the court on Wednesday (29 August) that he plans to plead guilty.
The court has issued a gag order to protect the girl's identity, as she is a minor.
Tan will next appear in court on September 5.
If found guilty as a first-time offender under the Children and Young Persons Act, he could be jailed five years and fined $10,000.
