I recently watched the footage of the George Floyd arrest. In many ways, he was to blame for his own death. The part that was not shown to the public was the part before he was on the ground with one of the officer's knee on his neck. During this earlier footage, you can see that Floyd had been arrested and was handcuff. The fucker was fighting the police all the way, and he is a very big guy. They tried to drag him into the back seat of the police car, but he was struggling and cops had difficulty doing it. I think they were tired and looking for some way for him to cool down. So, they left him on the ground, and I guess that was when one of the cops put his knee on his neck to restrain him. So, my take on this is:

1) What ever happened to obeying the police? If they tell you to get in the car, then do it. If you struggle, and resist them and probably curse them, then you are already putting them in a position where they have to protect themselves versus ensuring your safety.

2) SO, if Floyd had just gotten into the car and obeyed the police instructions, they would have driven him to the station, book him and he would probably be out in 24 hrs and be still alive.

3) The left leaning dishonest press fails to mention all this. Instead of telling its audience to co-operate with the Police in these sort of situations, they are actually inflaming the situation with their dishonest and one sided reporting.

4) Regardless, the cop should not have put his knee on his neck.

5) The cops should have checked on him and render him first aid, which they did not do.

The bottom line is that he would have been alive if he co-operated with the police. Cops are human too.
